Adjust the system's audio output settings. These settings are mainly used when the system is connected to audio devices that support digital audio output, such as AV amplifiers (receivers) for home entertainment systems. Linear PCM 2 Ch.] audio is set to be output from all output connectors by default. If you change the audio output settings, audio will be output only from the connectors that were set. Settings vary depending on supported formats. For details, refer to the instructions supplied with the audio device. The audio connection (Red and White) may be offset from the video inputs on the TV. If your TV only supports mono sound, just use the White audio plug.
Connect the output from this device to a video upscaler which can scale to 480p (or higher) which can support very large majority of modern equipment. Proprietary audio/video connector used by Sony on many devices, e.g. Sony TVs, Sony consoles Playstation 1/Psone, Playstation 2/PStwo, PlayStation X/PSX, Playstation 3/PS3.The PlayStation 2 can do VGA through this port, however it is software controlled, and since there aren't enough pins for H+V Sync, it uses Sync-On-Green, which not all monitors support. If you select [Linear PCM 2 Ch. 88.2 kHz] or [Linear PCM 2 Ch. 176.4 kHz] in step 5, sound may be intermittent or may not be emitted from some audio devices.
Note: You must add a 220 uF capacitor in each of the RGB lines (+ towards console) to get an acceptable picture. If you don't, the picture will be too dark and you won't like it!! All SNES units are compatible with the SyncBaby without modification; with exception to the SNES Mini/Jr units, which were some of the last SNES units produced and were a smaller than normal form factor (they were more rounded, and not boxy looking). These specific models will require modification to properly use this device, as they do not natively support RGB output. See the photo below for a comparison.
